In 2018, the BA Arts Management Curriculum of the De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde was revised to respond to management issues and challenges for interdisciplinary and contemporary projects in the arts, culture, and creative industry ecosystem. This served as an impetus for its change in nomenclature to BA Creative Industries Management in 2023.

DLS-CSB's Bachelor of Arts in Creative Industries Management program is an evolution of the Arts Management program (introduced in 1989) as a response to the ever-changing arena of creative industries. In this program, students become proficient in art history, theory and criticism and learn the systems and technologies of institutions and businesses that run on creativity, art, and design. They are also positioned to create conditions, spaces and interfaces in which art and creativity can happen and be sustained.
