The Averitt Center for the Arts in Statesboro, Georgia is seeking an experienced Executive Director/Arts Administrator to lead its three vibrant fine arts campuses in providing arts education to the local and area patrons.
Applicants should have a minimum of five years of experience as the Director/Assistant Director of an Art Center or similar venue and a master’s degree in Fine Arts Education, Arts, Fine Arts, Administration or a related field. The candidate should have a proven ability to establish and nurture partnerships with varied associations, donors and others interested in the Arts, strong managerial skills and successful experience with fundraising, grant writing and financial management. The mission of the Averitt Center for the Arts is to provide top-notch arts opportunities for Statesboro, Bulloch County and surrounding areas and to serve as a centerpiece for a historic downtown Statesboro. Entering its 14th year, the Averitt serves over 60,000 patrons annually in hundreds of classes, workshops, performances and programs in three locations in downtown Statesboro.
