From Arts Administration to Creative Versatility: Adopting the Taiwanese Arts Administration Training System for the Twenty First Century

(Ph.D.)The study traces the evolution of Western ideas about the competencies of arts administrators and uses this as a comparative baseline to examine the training of arts administrators in Taiwan and to suggest training curriculum for current and future arts administrators. Study includes national survey of organizational needs and arts manager attitudes in Taiwan.
