Program Goals and Objectives

The arts management core courses include Managing Arts & Cultural Organizations, Funding and Financial Issues in the Arts, Promoting the Arts, and Arts in the Community, along with Arts Management Seminar which is taken during the final year. Students supplement the arts management core with courses in Communication, Nonprofit Administration, Political Science and the Arts. Many students at UWGB minor in an artistic discipline (studio art, music, theatre), history or English. UWGB also offers a major in Gallery & Museum Practices which is a common double major.
