| Abstract | This portfolio includes a proposal for International Arts and Artists' (IA&A) education program, Exploring World Cultures. The literature review examines current definitions of globalization in today's world and the increasing level of interconnection between different cultures of the world. It also discusses the necessity of the American education system to better prepare its students for the global world. This portfolio then proposes how arts education can prepare students for the global world. The portfolio includes the description of the Exploring World Cultures education program. It also describes International Arts and Artists as an organization, and it outlines the curriculum, marketing plan, and timeline for the first two years of operation. |
