| Abstract | This paper reserached the current measures that visual artists age 62 and over have taken to document and preserve their work in order to heighten arts administrators' awareness of the existing and future needs of this population and increase their relies heavily on confidential data from the Research Center for Arts and Culture current study, Information on Artists III: Special Focus Agising Artists in New York's Five Boroughs in the following seve areas: age, primary artistic discipline, percent of individual gross income from sale of art work in 2005; type of artist's representation; type of documentation of art work; type of preparation made for art work after death; and destruction of art work. | |
