Volunteer Management In Four United States Museums

This thesis examines the topic of volunteerism, already a reality in the American nonprofit sector, and in the arts, especially in museums, regardless of their size and scope. The phenomenon of volunteerism has been studied tangentially from various perspectives - philosophical and socio-economic, such as the theories of Alexis de Tocqueville and Max Weber, among others. However, in this research essay, I have attempted to re-examine volunteerism from a managerial point of view.
