| Abstract | An amazing aspect of contemporary art is that much of it is somewhat easily reproducible, immovable, and oftentimes it is created for one moment in time. This thesis reviews the history of such art in hope of bringing to conclusion the difficult questions in accommodating, maintaining, and marketing contemporary art. This thesis is also a discussion of immaterial sculptures and conceptual art. Conceptual art is defined as works which are created with a non-traditional art form. This thesis looks at only conceptual art that is difficult to accommodate, maintain, and market. | |
