Long-Distance Relationships: The Presentation of International Theatre in the United States

This paper explores the presentation of international theatre in the United States by examining the size and scope of the international theatre presentation industry as well as the various initiatives through which international companies can come to perform on American stages. The paper highlights certain challenges and benefits that American presenters face given various scenarios for international theatre presentation.
