Abstract  

This essay examines the relevance, requirements and applicability of the concept of a cultural market within the Jordanian context. The study is a preliminary investigation of emerging trends and tools in the promotion of cultural enterprises in Jordan. It focuses on the assessment of the extent to which such trends, including the factors that shape them, could contribute to the creation of an enabling environment for the development of a successful cultural market that responds to the country's quest for cultural stewardship and cooperative engagement.
