| Abstract | State laws regarding how nonprofit organizations dispense monies received from bequests often conflict with those organizations' by-laws and mission, leading the nonprofit to Orphan's Court. The thesis addresses how the Orphan's Court wields its power over the distribution of trusts and estates and how the Orphan's Court use of its power does not always coincide with the intent of the donor. | |
