| Abstract | The revolution of electronic technology use began in 1995, during a time when its potential as a powerful fundraising tool for nonprofit organizations was in its infancy. Navigating electronic technology such as e-mail, the Internet, database systems, online grant applications, and online contributions was uncharted territory. In the next decade, as these technologies became commonplace, some segments of the nonprofit sector experienced surprising success forging ahead, while others seemed to lag behind. Arts organizations appeared to be adapting to technology at a considerably slower pace. | |
