Contemporary Music: Re-programming Orchestras and Their Patrons

Examines the role that serious, modern orchestral music plays in small, professional orchestras. Investigates the ability of these organizations to successfully promote this type of music to their audience members. Suggests responding to these challenges through an audience engagement/promotional program called "Listen Again for the Very First Time."
