Southern Utah University invites applicants for the position of Associate Director of Arts Administration to begin January 2018. SUU is seeking an arts administration professional with particular experience in fund development and management. The Associate Director will teach courses in Fund Development, Grant Writing, Board Relations, Arts Advocacy, Cultural Policy, Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Legal Issues, Performing & Visual Arts Studies, and Event Planning, depending on professional experience. The Associate Director will also serve as academic advisor to students in the Arts Administration program (both graduate and undergraduate), as well as help to direct and shape the future of Arts Administration at SUU.

The Arts Administration Program includes two graduate degree tracks (a residency Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts taught online) and an undergraduate minor. The program was founded in 2001, and its graduates have gone on to leadership positions across the country.
