Our central theme for the conference is research -- in our classrooms, our curriculum, our core mission, and in the evolving work of arts and cultural managers in the field. We'll hear from major research initiatives currently reframing and reshaping the way cultural managers think and work. We'll share our own research as scholars and field experts. We'll consider how to engage our students, our alumni, and our colleagues in the essential task and capacity of critical observation, reflection, and action.

Early Bird AAAE/CAAAE Member Registration ($245) available through March 1, 2009. Non-Member Registration is $385. AAAE Student Member Registration is available for both days of the conference ($95) or one day only ($50).

Room blocks have been reserved at three different lodgings: Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel, 3549 Chestnut Street (215.349.6315); The Hilton Inn at Penn, 3600 Sansom Street (215.222.0200); Cornerstone Home and Executive Suites, 3300 Baring Street (215.387.6065). The rooms will be held until March 2, one month before the conference. Be sure to mention AAAE when making your reservation, and ask about each individual accommodation's cancellation policy.
